"Singapore is an incredible multicultural country. It is amazing to see all these cultures concentrated on a small island where people are very welcoming and hospitable. This country is so dynamic, there are a lot of opportunities to take from it!

I am also fascinated with Nanyang Technological University (NTU)'s campus: it is so big that I still get lost sometimes! NTU offers a very studious environment for students where our professors guide us in our learning journey. This year, I mainly study Finance courses: international finance, cultural intelligence, Investments analysis and Portfolio management. We also prepare for our bachelor thesis, which has probably been our biggest academic challenge so far.

Our professors have an incredible background, and it is an honour to learn from their expertise.

  • My Investment analysis and portfolio management professor is Dr. Charlie Charoengwong. He is also the Academic Director of Master of Science Program in Financial Engineering.
  • My professor in “Cultural intelligence: How to be an explorer of the world” is Dr. Hoo Hui Teng. She is also the Director of Accreditation at the Nanyang Business School and is a double doctorate from University College London and Nanyang Technological University.
  • My professor in International Finance is Dr. Siriwan Chutikamoltham. She holds a doctorate in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, an MS in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and a B.Sc in Economics from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. She is also the CEO of Golden Land Properties - a real estate company.

For this year, I am hoping to learn a lot in class and be more well-rounded. I am also hoping to find my field of interest and discover what I truly want to do in the future. I also want to acquire new skills and leverage skills that I already have. As for my extra-curricular activities, I go to the sports classes provided by NTU for free where they teach different sport every day like fitness, pilates, piloxing, and yoga. I also enjoy going to the gym and visit Singapore in my free time. "
