Yonsei University achieves impressive rankings in the World University Rankings 2024!

This is why we are thrilled to announce that Yonsei University has been ranked 76th in the world and 1st among Asian private universities in the 2024 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings. THE is a prominent global university assessment organisation, and this ranking marks Yonsei University highest-ever position in Asian private university rankings.
In last year's THE assessment, Yonsei University made a significant leap, securing the 78th spot globally and becoming the top-ranked private university in Asia. This year's announcement is even more remarkable, with a 2-step improvement from last year, positioning us at the top among Asian private universities for the second consecutive year. This 76th global ranking holds historical significance as the highest rank achieved by an Asian private university since THE began publishing university rankings in 2004.
These recent achievements follow Yonsei University 76th-place ranking in the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) World University Rankings last June, and solidifies Yonsei University position as a leading university in Asia, ranking in the top 70 in both of the world's major university assessments: THE and QS World University Rankings. Yonsei University continues to maintain its status as the number one private university in Asia.
